Itinerary

Day 1: Monday, August 31, 2026Departure & Evening Monument Tour

The day has arrived — we depart Wooster, Ohio by motorcoach and make our way to Washington, D.C. After checking into our hotel, we board the bus for an evening tour of the National Mall and its iconic monuments. We will drive past the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the World War II Memorial, and the Jefferson Memorial. Overnight Washington, D.C.

Day 2: Tuesday, September 1, 2026 Museum of the Bible

Today we devote a full day to the Museum of the Bible, one of the largest museums in Washington, D.C. and a world-class exploration of the history, narrative, and impact of Scripture. With four floors of permanent exhibits, interactive galleries, a rooftop terrace, and a theater, a full day gives us the time to experience it properly. The museum is located just two blocks from the National Mall and within easy walking distance of the U.S. Capitol. Overnight Washington, D.C. (B)

Day 3: Wednesday, September 2, 2026 Arlington National Cemetery, Capitol Hill & National Mall

We begin early at Arlington National Cemetery, crossing the Potomac while the morning is still cool. We walk among the graves of the nation’s fallen, witness the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and visit the grave of President John F. Kennedy. From Arlington we cross back into the city and make our way to Capitol Hill, where we walk the Capitol Grounds and visit the National Archives to see the original Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. In the afternoon we board the bus down to the Lincoln Memorial. Standing at the top of its steps, we look back across the Reflecting Pool toward the Washington Monument and the Capitol — the full sweep of the Mall in a single view. We walk the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall and continue to the Korean War Veterans Memorial and the World War II Memorial before returning to the hotel. Overnight Washington, D.C. (B)

Day 4: Thursday, September 3, 2026Return to Wooster

After breakfast we check out of the hotel and board the motorcoach for the return journey to Wooster, Ohio. (B)
