Christian Expedition plans group tours to the lands of the Bible for churches, ministries, Bible colleges and student groups across the United States. Each expedition is built around one group: your dates, your departure city, your pace and the passages of Scripture you want to read where they happened. Calvary Chapel, Baptist and non-denominational churches travel with us, along with radio ministries, youth groups and seminaries.
Israel is where most groups begin. A Holy Land tour with Christian Expedition follows the life and ministry of Jesus from Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, the Jordan River, Bethlehem and Jerusalem. Groups share communion at the Garden Tomb, are baptized in the Jordan, sail on the Sea of Galilee and walk the Southern Steps of the Temple. Many add Jordan and Petra, or Egypt and Mount Sinai for the Footsteps of Moses.
For churches studying Acts and the Epistles, our Greece and Turkey tours follow the Apostle Paul to Philippi, Thessalonica, Athens and Corinth, and to Ephesus and the Seven Churches of Revelation. Italy and Malta trace Paul’s final journey to Rome. Reformation tours visit Germany, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, and British Isles tours follow Wesley, Whitefield and Celtic Christianity. In the United States, groups visit the Ark Encounter, Washington, D.C. and the Smoky Mountains.
One price covers the expedition: round-trip group airfare from your departure city, 4-star hotels, a private motor coach, breakfast and dinner daily, a Christian Expedition tour director and licensed local guides, entrance fees, taxes, and hotel and restaurant tips. Church trips to Israel usually run about $3,600 to $5,750 per person including airfare, and Greece and Turkey about $4,400 to $7,700.
Leading an expedition costs your church nothing. There is no deposit or financial guarantee, and the group leader travels free. Travelers register and pay Christian Expedition directly, so no money passes through the church. We build the itinerary around your group, send you a proposal, create your registration page and flyers, and handle air contracts, rooming lists and payments. A tour director travels with your group from arrival to departure, backed by a 24/7 emergency line.
