For ministries and radio hosts

Ministry & Radio Expeditions

Trips built around a host and the people who follow their work

Take your listeners, readers or ministry partners to Israel, Greece and Turkey, Italy and more, with you teaching on the sites and our team handling everything else.

Why travel with your audience

What a ministry expedition is

A ministry expedition is open to the people who already know your voice. Three things make it work.

You host it.

You teach through the trip, on the sites, in your own way. Many hosts record or broadcast from the road, and we plan the days so there is time and space to do it.

Open to your whole audience.

Your travelers come from wherever your listeners and partners live. They register online, on their own, and most meet each other for the first time on the trip.

One group, one itinerary.

Everyone travels together, with a Christian Expedition tour director for the whole trip and licensed local guides at each site. We size the plan to the response you expect, and grow it if more people sign up.

How we help

How we build a ministry expedition

You bring the audience and the teaching. This is what we take off your plate.

  1. 1

    The first conversation

Tell us where you would like to take your audience, roughly when, and how many you think will come. We come back with an itinerary and a price, with no deposit and no commitment until the plan is right.

  2. 2

An itinerary built around your teaching

We shape the days around what you want to teach and where, and leave room for recording or broadcasting if you plan to. You approve the itinerary before anything is booked.

  3. 3

    Promotion for your channels

Our media team produces a trip page with online registration and the material you need to announce it: on air, in a newsletter, on social media or from the stage.

  4. 4

    Registrations and payments

Each traveler registers and pays us directly, and our travel support team answers their questions, so your office is not running a travel desk. A $450 deposit at registration, and the balance 90 days before departure.

  5. 5

    Your place is covered

The host’s place is earned by the group you bring and comes from our suppliers, not from what your travelers pay. There is no deposit or financial guarantee from you.

  6. 6

A tour director with your group

A Christian Expedition tour director travels with the group from arrival to departure, with 24/7 emergency support behind them, so you can teach and spend time with your audience.

A different kind of group?

We build the same trip for other groups

The way we build a ministry expedition works for a church, a youth or student group or a Bible college or seminary. Tell us what the group is and we will build around it.

If this is your first time hosting, start with Lead an Expedition and how to promote your trip.

Before you ask

Common questions

Do my travelers need to know each other?

No. Most ministry groups are made up of people who follow the host’s work and have never met. They get to know each other quickly on the road.

How many people need to sign up?

Tell us the response you realistically expect and we will build and price for it. If your audience responds strongly, we can add places or a second departure.

Can I record or broadcast during the trip?

Yes. Tell us what you plan to record, and where, and we will build the time into the days. Some sites have their own rules on filming, and we will tell you which ones before you go.

Who answers my travelers’ questions?

We do. Our travel support team handles registration, payments and travel questions directly with each traveler.

Can my spouse or staff come along?

Yes. Tell us who you would like to bring, and we will show how their places are priced in the proposal.

Can the trip raise funds for my ministry?

Yes. A fundraising amount can be built into the price of the trip to support your ministry. Doing it at all is your call.

Plan your expedition

Planning an expedition for your audience?

Tell us where you would like to go, roughly when, and how many people you think will come. We will build the itinerary and send a full price before you commit to anything.
