Trips built around a church, its pastor and its people
Israel, Greece and Turkey, Italy and more, on the dates that suit your church, with your pastor teaching where the Bible happened.
Three things set a church expedition apart from joining a tour.
Your own pastor teaches through the trip, reading the Scripture on the site where it happened. Times of worship, and baptisms in the Jordan if your group wants them, are planned into the days before you leave.
Your church travels on its own dates, not a fixed departure. We build around the weeks your pastor can be away, school breaks, or a season in the life of the church.
Everyone travels together on one itinerary, with a Christian Expedition tour director for the whole trip and licensed local guides at each site. Most church groups are 20 to 50 travelers, and smaller groups can be arranged.

Most of the pastors we travel with had never organized a trip before their first expedition. This is what we take off your plate.
Tell us roughly where your church wants to go, when, and how many you expect. We come back with an itinerary and a price, with no deposit and no commitment until the plan is right.
You know your people. We shape the days, the pace and the sites around them, and you approve the itinerary before anything is booked.
Our media team produces a flyer and a trip page with online registration for your expedition, and whatever else you need for the pulpit, the bulletin, email or social media.
Each traveler registers and pays us directly, so the church office never collects checks or chases balances. A $450 deposit at registration, and the balance 90 days before departure.
Your place is earned by the group you bring and comes from our suppliers, not from what your travelers pay. There is no deposit or financial guarantee from you.
A Christian Expedition tour director travels with the group from arrival to departure, with 24/7 emergency support behind them, so your pastor can be a pastor rather than a tour manager.
The way we build a church expedition works for a ministry or radio audience, a youth or student group, a Christian school, or a Bible college or seminary. Tell us what the group is and we will build around it.
If you are a pastor thinking about leading for the first time, start with Lead an Expedition, or travel the route yourself first on one of our pastors’ familiarization trips.

Most church groups travel with their own pastor, who teaches through the trip. If your pastor cannot travel, talk to us about who will lead the group. Our tour director and licensed guides handle the touring either way.
Most of our church groups travel with 20 to 50 people, and we can arrange smaller groups as well. Tell us the size you realistically expect and we will build and price for it.
Most groups start planning eight to thirteen months out, and waiting is the most common mistake we see. Popular seasons fill first, so a spring trip wants the longer end of that.
We do. Each traveler registers and pays Christian Expedition directly, so the church is not handling deposits, balances or refunds.
Usually, yes. Most church expeditions are open to anyone your pastor is happy to travel with, and friends and family of your members are often the easiest people to invite.
Yes. A fundraising amount can be built into the price of the trip to support your church or ministry. Doing it at all is your call.
Tell us where your church would like to go, roughly when, and how many might come. We will build the itinerary and send a full price before you commit to anything.
