FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do we get to Washington, D.C.?

Groups within a day’s drive usually travel by private motor coach, which stays with the group in the city. Groups farther away fly in, and a motor coach meets them at the airport. We will price whichever suits your group.

Do we need passports?

No. U.S. citizens need only a government-issued photo ID. If the group flies, each adult needs a REAL ID compliant license or a passport at airport security.

Can we go inside the Capitol or the White House?

Tours inside the Capitol and the White House are requested through your member of Congress, and White House tours must be requested months ahead and are not guaranteed. Tell us early and we will help with the requests.

Is this a good trip for schools and families?

Yes. Christian schools, homeschool groups and families travel this route with us, and the pace works for all ages.

Can our group choose its own dates and change the itinerary?

Yes. Every expedition is built for one group, on that group’s dates. The four-day route on this page is our standard, and groups often add a day for the Smithsonian museums, Mount Vernon or Gettysburg.

What is generally not included?

Travel insurance, lunches, dinners other than the group dinner, and personal expenses. Anything not listed as included can be quoted for your group on request.
